Growing eucalyptus in Canada, even in the cold zones (as an annual) is possible! Start early in the year in January, or February at the latest, for harvest in August and September.

Sow: Early---12-14 weeks before last frost. Sow seed on the surface of the soil. lightly pressed in, and do not cover as they need light to germinate (may cover with fine dusting of vermiculite). Germinates best at 22°C. Seeds can be very slow to germinate and can take up to 45 days to sprout.
Transplant: Harden-off and transplant out after the last frost.
Days to maturity: 120-150 days
Plant spacing: 12-24"
Harvest: Fresh, anytime after leaves have started to feel leathery.
Vase life: 14+ days
Approximately 20 seeds per pack.
Shipping only within Canada; sent via lettermail (no tracking). I have not had an issue with lettermail being lost, however there is always a risk of packages getting lost without tracking.
